Do you know someone aged 6 to 16 who has a bike and would like to have a go at some fun, off-road racing?

The 2017 Muddy Monsters Go-Ride Racing Series will feature 7 rounds this winter.



The races are all based on Cyclo-Cross but any bike suitable for off-road racing can be used.

10th December Ashwell Grass Track, SG7 5LT
7th January Hinchingbrooke School, PE29 6GP
14th January Welwyn Track, AL8 6XE
21st January Ashwell Grass Track, SG7 5LT
11th February Milton Country Park, CB24 6AZ
25th February TBC
4th March Welwyn Track AL8 6XE

Entry fee is £4 per event
Sign on at 9:30am for 10am start.
Each event will feature 3 races for all entrants.
The best 5 results from the 7 rounds will count to a rider’s overall score.

Please note that there are no toilets at the Ashwell Grass Track in winter (but there are ones at the Ashwell Rec, ½ mile away).

Go-Ride Racing is British Cycling's exciting entry-level competition programme, which offers local competition for novice cyclists under the age of 16, helping young people to make a gradual transition into competitive cycling.

This series is not designed for any riders who regularly compete in the Regional Cyclo-Cross or MTB leagues. However we don’t mind Under 12’s who have done some racing coming along to gain further experience.
