I understand that the event is run under the Rules and Regulations of Cycling Time Trials as shown in the current Handbook. I confirm that I understand the Rules and Regulations and will comply with them. I will participate in the Drug Testing Programme if required to do so.
I am not currently under suspension by Cycling Time Trials or any organisation with which Cycling Time Trials have an agreement. I agree to accept the decision of the promoter in all matters concerning the event and I take part subject to any rights of appeal or review according to the Rules and Regulations of Cycling Time Trials. I understand that the event is held wholly or in part on public or private property or the public highway and that I take part entirely at my own risk and that no liability whatever shall attach to the promoter, promoting club or any officials of the event, Cycling Time Trials or any club affiliated thereto or any member of such club for any injury loss or damage suffered by me in or by reason of the event however caused. I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ ALL THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE START SHEET AND/OR DISPLAYED AT THE SIGNING-ON POINT. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT CYCLING TIME TRIALS REQUIRES THAT I WEAR A HARD SHELL HELMET THAT MEETS AN ACCEPTED SAFETY STANDARD. (SUCH AS BSEN1078 or SNELL 90 - BRCC comment).
1. You can sign on online only. There is NO Wi-Fi at the clubhouse.
2. Once you have signed in, pay your entry fee in CASH at the clubhouse and collect your number. 3. You MUST have a functioning, switched-on red rear light and white front light fitted to your bike. 4. You MUST wear a British Standards CTT approved helmet. 5. If you ride a road bike: For the purposes of Regulation 14, competitors riding Road Bikes must ride holding the drops or brake hoods. Riders may not ride in the "Puppy Paws" position or simulate a Tri-bar position with forearms on the handlebars. NB Carry spares so you can mend a puncture, and take your phone, so you can call home if you have issues, as we cannot retrieve you from the course.
